Slow Bike Sunday – Easton to Trappe Coffee Loop
Slow Bike Sunday is a no-drop, social-pace ride, usually between 20 and 25 miles with a rest stop somewhere around the halfway point, usually starting and ending at a great place to grab a bite. A great introduction to riding in a group for new riders, a chance for experienced racers to slow down and enjoy the scenery, and an opportunity for everyone to get out, eat at local businesses, and have fun!
This week we are doing a Coffee Loop! We will start at the coffee oasis of Eat Sprout in Easton, running south to a rendezvous with the espresso machine at the Coffee Trappe in Trappe, Maryland, and then back up to Eat Sprout, where your ride leader will engage in his third cup (and maybe third pastry) of the ride. Should be invigorating! The Coffee Trappe can be busy on a Sunday, so we may make a game time decision to hit the High’s dairy convenience store for bathrooms and jitter juice.
The route is just over 22 miles, and is linked below. Hope to see you there!
